AI/GenAI shows up in European job ads far less uniformly than one might think!
Using the same dataset of ~7,400 recent job ads and text mining approach I recently posted about, I just plotted a graph showing significant cross-country differences emerge in the frequency with which AI/GenAI competencies are explicitly mentioned in marketing, commercial, and innovation roles across markets:
- In some countries, AI/GenAI appears in nearly 1 in 5 job ads.
- In others, it shows up in fewer than 1 in 20.
This doesn’t measure AI “maturity.” It captures how explicitly AI skills are signaled in job ads, and shows that varies across labor markets.
